The Wolves of Avalon led by Metatron (The Meads of Asphodel) unleash their fourth album of atmospheric pagan metal 'Y Gododdin' joined by pioneering guests Venom Inc., Taake and Drudkh on a limited run of 500 black & white splatter vinyls.
Advancing their journey through British history, 'The Wolves' ride with the northern Gododdin to depict the battle of Catraeth, one of the last conflicts of resistance against the Germanic settlers who massacred the Celtic peoples of what was to become England.
This latest LP sees The Wolves of Avalon once again enlist allies from the Black Metal elite including Tony Dolan (Venom Inc), Hoest (Taake), Wulfstan (Forefather) Nico Millar (Aklash) and Ukranian black metal legend Thurios of Drudkh to battle through five brand new tracks by songsmith James J.M Marinos.
Also lifted from the album arrives The Wolves of Avalon's first video single 'The shining company (feat. Thurios | Drudkh)' which will be released in November retelling the besieged realms of The Old North.
The 'Y Gododdin' vinyl and accompanying digital version will be released this November 25th 2022 exclusively through Godreah Records.
Includes unlimited streaming of 2022 - Y Gododdin (LP)

lyrics
300 riders, men of Gododdin
Riding into legend, squadrons galloping
Apocalyptic steeds, trampling slain
Over grass and clover, hail and rain
Tatterdemalion, savage hordes
Saxon invaders, Rhineland whores
Wolves of Albion, joyous dead
Men of Gododdin, slaughters din
With murdering hands, come the war bands
Spilling guts, raping our lands
Cold blazing flesh, open silent eyes
Mute desolation, rising arrows falling
Faces deformed with masks of horror, shimmering in
A dusky malign, effigies of the dreamless dead
Drown in oblivion
Shit most foul, vomiting piss
Fucking hell, battle dazed
In rivers of clay, swift to be slain
Swifter to slay, freezing carnage
In mires drowning, blind ghosts of kings
Soulless abounding, meat for crows
Glutted yellow claws
Ripping open flesh, gaping maw
Warriors
Lay on scattered bones
To be living ghosts
Unwarmed
In the death-like air
Men of Gododdin
Beyond these leafless woods stand the men of
Carrion gods, bound to the whim of murder

I've been a huge fan of this band since hearing 'Campfires', an album which I've played to death! This one is a little different in a way, and it took me sooooo long to get in to, but once it clicked, holy shit did it click. Sea Fire is an absolute banger that evokes sounds of Filosofem era Burzum and Mystifier to my ears...not a bad mix at all. I love 'Ghostly Shores' so much I bought the CD and the Cassette and now I eagerly await whatever comes next from OCR. Skek-Gra

Allow me to copy Pagan Altar's third album title to describe not only III:Pentecost but the whole discography of Wytch Hazel so far: well, yes, it's Magical and Mythical!!! A must-have for the lovers of 70's hard sound revival. BoneWalker

Nucléaire, Black -Speed ravageur, ou l'on peut entendre beaucoup d'influence. Mélodique, puissant et varié un album qui me fait fortement penser à l'album Terminal Redux de Vektor !!! necro

A Pagan black metal masterpiece.
Folk and black metal elements fuse into one extremely catchy and awe inspiring album. This band does not disappoint from all the high praise sent it's way. Abyssius Murkraken
